Increasing your longevity: the Psychotip® programme

Everything your behaviour can genuinely add to your life expectancy — with the figures —, what is useless despite the marketing, and a twelve-week programme to install the levers one at a time.

En resumen

This programme gathers what research has solidly established about the behaviours that lengthen life and healthy life: tobacco, physical activity, food, alcohol, sleep, social ties, stress and purpose, plus the medical numbers worth watching. It gives the orders of magnitude — how many years, for what effort —, it says frankly what does not work despite what is being sold to you, and it offers twelve weeks to install the changes one at a time rather than all at once.

El programa

This programme supports medical follow-up, it does not replace it. It makes no diagnosis and changes no treatment: any decision about a medication, a screening test or a return to activity after a health problem is taken with your doctor. The figures quoted are population averages, not individual promises. Allow forty-five minutes to read, and twelve weeks for the active part.

1. Before you start

You have already read a hundred articles on the subject. One tells you to fast, another to eat every three hours; one praises red wine, another forbids it; a third sells you a powder at three hundred euros a month.

The result is a fog, and fog produces inaction.
